In the first half, Liz, Liz and Christopher R. Smith shake off the ghosts of the the Jerome Film Festival and discuss short films. Is there a market for short films? What are some other reasons to make shorts?

Then our good friend, film reviewer Bill Pierce, joins us to talk local film trends, his hopes for his favorite local filmmakers, why he wont sensor his opinions, and why you SHOULD keep making short films.

Episode 8

This episode originally aired on June 20th, 2014.

This time, we go guest-less and just get down and dirty about screenwriting. Host Christopher R. Smith earned a degree in Screenwriting from Chapman University's Dodge College, and Liz earned a certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA. They've made 2 feature films together and Liz is here to pick their brains on the topic of writing films, particularly for the no/low budget market.
